Welcome to Love, Cheri!

Creating a world of self-love and acceptance

I’m Cheri Caddick, I am a writer, an artist and a workshop facilitator.

This is a safe space and I’m very glad that you are here. 

My mission is to bring more calm, self-love and self-acceptance into the world. We need some bright spots! Some light, some love, some joy! 

The little watercolor birdies you will see on this site are all about that, and taking the time to connect with myself! It’s so important. It’s about loving myself and encouraging others to do the same. 

I encourage you to take some time to sit down and focus on yourself for a little while each day! Write in a journal, do some artwork, doodle, paint, sing, write a song, a poem, pour your heart out onto a page, write a silly verse, make a cut paper collage. Just twenty minutes a day can make such a difference in how you feel, and how you see yourself and the world. It can be the difference between self-love, and self-connection and total disconnect—moving through our lives frozen, and operating inspite of how we feel, instead of connected to it. 

We deserve to love ourselves. We deserve to feel valued and loved. We deserve a few minutes to connect. 

If we love ourselves we have more love to bring out into the world. We are less ready to fight, to find fault, to get stressed angry and anxious.

I created the journal I wish I’d had at the start of my journey, and now I want to share it with you.

Moving Toward Calm, a Gentle Guided Journal for Anxious People and Others is a gently guided journal that offers you the space to write, paint and even color as a way of creating more calm in your life. Gentle prompts invite you to explore various ideas and images in quiet and comforting ways. Moving Toward Calm is available in two versions: A Deluxe Spiral Bound Edition with paper suitable for all types of art work including watercolor paint, and the Standard Edition which is best suited to pens, colored pencils, and collage work.
