I've been letting an area in my yard naturalize. I tossed some wildflower seeds in there and I have been paring back some of the weeds that get a bit ginormous, but otherwise, I'm trying to leave it be. I marvel at the complexity of it--the ways in which the plants wind around each other, or spring up side-by-side and just co-exist. Each of them has their own complex system of cellular structure, and all of them process sunlight and water. I think we as humans are just like that. And we have that same ability to grow side by side. I have always believed in the innate goodness of people and I still do. We are all complex and different and we still have the ability to grow side by side. Let's keep working on that. Nature does it with ease. We can do it, too. Look for the good. Love yourself.
