Sometimes a little soft focus is necessary. I can have a tendency to dig in to an issue, or something that is causing me pain. What I need in those moments is sometimes to just let things be a little blurry, give my sharp focus to something else and wait until it's a better time to give the current issue focus in order to change it. Soft focus. It's a kinder, more compassionate way to take care of myself. It's definitely a self-love strategy. Love yourself and love others.
