Okay today's art journal is a little weird. Maybe it's even a stretch to say it's art, but who knows, right? After seeing a heart in my morning coffee a while back when my Gram was sending me hearts, I've started looking at my coffee to, well see what I see. A couple days ago, it was the one on the left which looks to me like a bird (a bit disgruntled!) and today's looked like a wave until I looked a little closer and then it looked like a little dolphin and maybe it's both, or neither! But it got me thinking about how we can find and create art anywhere and with anything. Don't feel up to painting today? Swirl the cream in your coffee and take a pic of what you see. Who knows what it might inspire you to create. Whatever else, enjoy and savor the moment. I think that's what both of these funny, frothy images are inviting me to do. Love yourself and love others!
