Today, I was thinking about grief and how it doesn't go away. That's the truth. It becomes a part of us. We learn to live with it. Every day we make another step and another step and soon we are walking with it, instead of fighting against it. The one thing required is self-love. Of all the things we need to love ourselves through, this one is vital. We must love ourselves through the days when it feels like we can't take another step. We must love ourselves through the dark, until we come out into lighter times. They do come. We just have to keep walking in love. Love yourself enough to keep on walking. And then you'll have the capacity to continue to love others. Keep going.
