I've been seeing all these hopeful robins in my yard. They always strike me as being a little bit sassy in their springtime arrival--like they're talking back to winter. Giving it a good rebuke to take off. Then they settle in happily (hoppily) surveying the lawns and plucking out their breakfast. It strikes me that in nature everything knows its exact seasons, boundaries, and abilities. It's so important for us to know that, too--and also to know that sometimes it's our personal season to rest, recuperate and figure ourselves out. Nothing in nature fights against rest when it's time. That's a good lesson. We rest and then we return, and bloom. It's part of a self-love cycle. Love yourself and love others.

Love, Cheri
