Lately I've been thinking about that phrase "under water with it". It's a good phrase for a lot of reasons. When big things happen, I often describe it as a feeling of walking through water. Anxiety responses can make it really hard to breathe. Everything looks blurry and altered. It's hard to tell the real distance of anything. The only thing we can do is keep swimming, keep heads above the water as best as possible. And of course, as best we can--breathe. Love yourself first, then love others,
