Sometimes it’s hard for me to pick a direction. I get a lot of creative impulses and ideas. I start multiple projects and often it takes me a long time to complete them. I had no idea that this was common in the neurodivergence of chronic anxiety. I have been critical of myself about this, but it turns out—it’s not my fault. I learn more about how anxiety affects us nearly every day, and that helps. Being kind to myself about my foibles helps, too. It’s about self-love and acceptance. Love yourself first.
