When you can’t see the sun, ya’ gotta’ BE the sun. That’s pretty trite, but behind it is some truth that I find helpful. Gray days can be hard for me. SAD affects a lot of people. I use warm light around the house, create in bright colors and even wear them. Often I close the shades against the outdoor gray and create as much warm light as possible around me. And I try not to dwell on sad, upsetting or dysregulating things. A cozy book or movie, or a happy TV show can help me, too. As best you can, love yourself into the light!
