Another new experiment with a new technique. Imperfection and acceptance are the goal. These little flowers on their stalks are teaching me that. It’s so important that I continue to pursue these lessons in anti-perfectionism. If I’m not on top of it, I don’t allow myself things like “time off” (working with clients) or to choose for instance to leave something messy until the next day, to create less than perfect holidays, or home care, or meals. It creates a narrative in my head where I am always, always “getting it wrong”. It’s not true, and it’s painful. I invite you to never be perfect, too. It’s very freeing. Loving yourself is so much better.

Love, Cheri
