I recently learned that injustice is very difficult for the neurodivergent (chronic anxiety sufferers are neurodivergent fyi). It’s difficult for everyone, of course, but it sets my nervous system on fire in very uncomfortable and painful ways. The best I know how to do, is focus my attention where I see kindness, even (especially?) if it’s in the person who has been wronged. Seeing & knowing the kindness that exists in stark contrast to those who happily, selfishly perpetuate the injustices helps my heart to calm down. A calmer world is a better world. Be kind.
Love, Cheri.
